In the 35th minute Nguyễn Lan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Banas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eagle King Club's Antoni Banas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Eagle King Club from getting a goal against them. The supporters of PADFC booed when Eagle King Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Cong Vinh didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Lan made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antoni Banas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phạm Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phạm Bien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Banas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PADFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eagle King Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
