Nghiêm Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bùi Loc in the 14th minute of the match. If Trần Bien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Van Quyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Huỳnh Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hoàng Binh charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hoàng Binh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, D Suneil's Hoàng Binh got a free kick in the 25th minute. Huỳnh Dong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Van Quyen went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bùi Loc in the 41st minute of play forced D Suneil's goalkeeper Nghiêm Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th play minute Nguyễn Van Quyen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Huỳnh Dong. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hoàng Binh to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hoàng Binh made a precise shot to the right of Huỳnh Dong. Paris Saint Iceland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint Iceland's Trần Pham got a free kick in the 57th minute. Paris Saint Iceland's Huỳnh Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Van Quyen in the 61st minute of play. Huỳnh Dong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hoàng Binh, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Paris Saint Iceland's Huỳnh Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hoàng Binh in the 66th minute of play. When Lê Minh fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris Saint Iceland's protests and gave Lê Minh a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of Paris Saint Iceland:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for D Suneil. Nguyễn Van Quyen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Huỳnh Dong. 4-1. After 73 played minutes Paris Saint Iceland got a freekick which was hit by Bùi Tuan. Huỳnh Dong came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by D Suneil's Nguyễn Van Quyen. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Van Quyen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. During the 79th minute of the match Lê Minh completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lê Minh a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th match minute, Paris Saint Iceland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Minh to maneuver through the defense. Huỳnh Dong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Van Quyen went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Hoàng Binh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that D Suneil were the better team. D Suneil's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
