Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hoàng Phu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Trần Bien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huỳnh Tinh in the 4th minute of play. Huỳnh Tinh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huỳnh Tinh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Bien having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Hue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hoang to maneuver through the defense. HA NOI's Bùi Hieu Ngan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hue. Trần Lan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Huỳnh Tinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Bien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Nguyễn Phuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Bien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nguyễn Phuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, HA NOI's Trần Lan got a free kick in the 31st minute. Huỳnh Tinh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Phuc notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of HA NOI's Trần Bien. Trần Bien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hồ Liem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hoàng Phu's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for HA NOI. Bùi Hieu Ngan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hồ Liem. 1-1.

If Nguyễn Phuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes HA NOI got a freekick which was hit by Trần Lan. Trần Bien acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ngô Chi. Trần Bien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 72nd minute of the match. HA NOI's Trần Lan got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Trần Lan off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Trần Lan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Dương Nam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hồ Liem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Phuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Trần Bien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hue's zone, Dương Nam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hồ Liem came out of the goal and Dương Nam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huỳnh Tinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Trần Bien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trần Bien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Phuc's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Nguyễn Phuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huỳnh Tinh in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Trần Bien, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Hue's Nguyễn Phuc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trần Bien. That made the score 1-3 after 96 minutes of play. If Nguyễn Phuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
