But to his dismay, Lê Minh-ha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cao Xanh Ward's Lê Than played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hoàng Mai in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Phong notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cao Xanh Ward's Lê Than. Lê Than was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes of play Cao Xanh Ward's Hoàng Nga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 33rd match minute, Cao Xanh Ward was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hoàng Nga to maneuver through the defense. Lê Than made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Phong in the 36th minute of play. Nguyễn Phong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Nguyễn Phong made the kick off in the second half. If Hồ Binh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Than sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hồ Binh in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Nguyet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Long Xuyen's Nguyễn Nguyet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Tuan Hoang in the 62nd minute of play. Hồ Binh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 68 in the game by Lê Minh-ha from a close distance when the talented Lê Than managed to make a qualified save. Cao Xanh Ward's players were relieved. Lê Than took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Viet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Nguyễn Viet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Xuyen and the Cao Xanh Ward players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Long Xuyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Viet to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Nguyễn Than managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cao Xanh Ward's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Than was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lê Than was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Nguyễn Phong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Phong really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a rather tough play, Long Xuyen's Trần Cong Vinh got a free kick in the 99th minute. The Cao Xanh Ward supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Long Xuyen's performance. The match ended with a win for Long Xuyen.
