Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Szymon Paciuszko made the kick off and thus started the match. Nguyễn Hoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Paciuszko in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Szymon Paciuszko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saigon Kick's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Paciuszko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Hoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Dong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saigon Kick's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Can Tho the free kick. Nguyễn Dong hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Trần Hoang acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nguyễn Xuan. After 14 minutes of play Saigon Kick's Nguyễn Dong was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nguyễn Dong kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Can Tho's Nguyễn Van Quyen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trần Hoang. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Lê Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lê Hung kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Szymon Paciuszko kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The long shot by Phạm Nghiêm-Minh in the 33rd minute really tested Trần Hoang's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Võ Tu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Trần Hoang firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Saigon Kick's Nguyễn Phuoc got a free kick in the 36th minute. Can Tho's Nguyễn Xuan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Trần Hoang but with some difficulty. Lê Hung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Hoa having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Nguyễn Phuoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Van Quyen made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Can Tho's Nguyễn Duong got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Thai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Can Tho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saigon Kick the free kick. The supporters of Saigon Kick booed when Can Tho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Thai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Thai hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Duong charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Duong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Saigon Kick booed when Can Tho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Duong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Nguyễn Phuong in the 76th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Nguyễn Hoa's left hand side. The throw-in from Triệu Thai in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saigon Kick's Nguyễn Phuoc. After having played for 89 minutes, Lê Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saigon Kick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Hung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Can Tho had played much better football throughout.
