The supporters of D Suneil booed when Cao Xanh Ward was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hồ Binh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes Hoàng Binh rounded Cao Xanh Ward's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Hoàng Binh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Nguyễn Than shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nghiêm Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, D Suneil's Hoàng Binh got a free kick in the 28th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hồ Binh to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Cao Xanh Ward's Nghiêm Minh threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nguyễn Than, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nghiêm Minh was a little too slow when Hồ Binh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Van Quyen in the 66th minute of play forced D Suneil's goalkeeper Nghiêm Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Than in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Văn Tinh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. D Suneil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cao Xanh Ward the free kick. After 69 played minutes D Suneil got a freekick which was hit by Văn Tinh. Nghiêm Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Tuan Hoang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Than in the 72nd minute of play. If Phạm Tinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nghiêm Minh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hồ Binh's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Than dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nghiêm Minh, 2-4. In the 80th minute of the match, Hồ Binh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nghiêm Minh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hoàng Binh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lê Than tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Than notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh. Nghiêm Minh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hồ Binh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nghiêm Minh came out and tried to block the shot, but Hồ Binh slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hồ Binh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nghiêm Minh. That made the score 2-7 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Nguyễn Than made a precise shot to the right of Nghiêm Minh. D Suneil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. Cao Xanh Ward's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
