Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phan Duc in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hồ Liem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huỳnh Tinh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phạm Thanh Bình during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s Phạm Thanh Bình got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phan Duc in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hồ Liem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hồ Liem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phạm Thanh Bình in the 20th minute of play. Trần Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hue's Nguyễn Hoang got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Phan Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Phan Duc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hồ Liem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trần Lam made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Huỳnh Tinh sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Phuc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trần Lam came out and tried to block the shot, but Nguyễn Phuc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. When Phan Duc came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phan Duc couldn't finish the play. Trần Lam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huỳnh Tinh in the 38th minute. Trần Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Hue's Nguyễn Phuc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After having played for 57 minutes, Lê Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Hoang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Phan Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the game, Phan Duc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hồ Liem. Phan Duc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 71stth minute of the game Phan Duc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hue's Hồ Liem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Phuc came free, but Trần Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huỳnh Tinh struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Trần Lam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hue. Trần Lam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Phuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hue's Nguyễn Phuc got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Nguyễn Phuc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trần Lam was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 96thth minute of the game Phan Duc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hue's Hồ Liem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hue had won after a very even match.
