Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hoàng Binh got the match started through his kick off. Hoàng Binh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nguyễn Nguyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Phong in the 6th minute of play. Nguyễn Viet kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Nghiêm Minh made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Lê Minh-ha sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Hoàng Mai took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nghiêm Minh to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, D Suneil's Nguyễn Van Quyen got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Nguyễn Van Quyen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored D Suneil's protests and gave Nguyễn Van Quyen a yellow card for diving instead. Nghiêm Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Phong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nghiêm Minh made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hoàng Mai sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Nguyet came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by D Suneil's Hoàng Binh. But to his dismay, Hoàng Binh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hoàng Binh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nghiêm Minh was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Nguyễn Viet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Viet really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Lê Minh-ha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 38th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
53 minutes into the game, Long Xuyen's Lê Minh-ha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nghiêm Minh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Nghiêm Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Mai in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, D Suneil's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Viet came free, but Nghiêm Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Lê Minh-ha made a precise shot to the right of Nghiêm Minh. D Suneil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Nghiêm Minh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lê Minh-ha went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Nghiêm Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Minh-ha in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Hoàng Mai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nghiêm Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Long Xuyen's zone, Nguyễn Van Quyen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Nguyet came out of the goal and Nguyễn Van Quyen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nghiêm Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Viet in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Nguyễn Viet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Phong in the 82nd minute of play. Nguyễn Minh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nguyễn Nguyet. Long Xuyen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Long Xuyen's Lê Minh-ha in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye D Suneil's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Long Xuyen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
