Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chung Hieu Ngan kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Chi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. United Fandom FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ha Dong the free kick. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Đặng Xuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United Fandom FC. In the 11th minute Nguyễn Diem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phạm Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phạm Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Diem in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by United Fandom FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chung Thien was slow to take the kick. During this time Ha Dong's players had a chance to rest. Nguyễn Huỳnh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phạm Tran. United Fandom FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 19 played minutes United Fandom FC got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Than. In the 23rd match minute, Ha Dong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bùi Van Tai Em to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ha Dong's zone, Nguyễn Tuan Hoang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đặng Xuan came out of the goal and Nguyễn Tuan Hoang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chung Hieu Ngan in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Đặng Xuan saved Ha Dong from getting behind. After 32 minutes, Phan Hoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United Fandom FC and the Ha Dong players grew even worse after the yellow card. Phan Hoa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ha Dong's Đặng Xuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ha Dong from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Ha Dong's goalkeeper Đặng Xuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Tuan Hoang. Phạm Tran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Lien in the 38th minute of play. United Fandom FC's Phạm Tran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Diem in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ha Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Chung Hieu Ngan came free, but Đặng Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trần Lien made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Nguyễn Tinh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Ha Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Phan Hoa came free, but Đặng Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chung Hieu Ngan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Đặng Xuan. Đặng Xuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 73rd minute, Nguyễn Tinh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. United Fandom FC's Nguyễn Tuan Hoang got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Nguyễn Than hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phạm Tran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Diem in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes of play Ha Dong's Bùi Van Tai Em was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of United Fandom FC booed when Ha Dong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bùi Van Tai Em didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nguyễn Diem fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ha Dong's protests and gave Nguyễn Diem a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ha Dong getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Nguyễn Diem hit a great ball. When Chung Hieu Ngan came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the United Fandom FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chung Hieu Ngan couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Tuan Hoang in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Đặng Xuan saved Ha Dong from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Nguyễn Cadeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Chung Hieu Ngan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Đặng Xuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. United Fandom FC had played much better football throughout.
