Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trần Lien started the match with the kick off. If Bùi Van Tai Em had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Thanh Bình received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Đặng Xuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AOrz's Phạm Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Lien in the 15th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Ha Dong got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Diem. Nguyễn Minh came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Đặng Xuan could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ha Dong's Chung Thien got a free kick in the 24th minute. Phạm Tho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Diem, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nguyễn Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Phạm Tho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AOrz's Phan Xuan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Trần Lien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phạm Tho was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, AOrz's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Lien came free, but Phạm Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phan Xuan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Trần Lien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ha Dong fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Thanh Bình to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Thanh Bình had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Đặng Xuan. Ha Dong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Thanh Bình was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of AOrz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ha Dong:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Ha Dong. Chung Thien stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Phạm Tho. 1-3. AOrz's Phạm Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Lien in the 69th minute of play. AOrz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Trần Lien scored to the left of an out of position Phạm Tho, making the score, 1-4. After 80 minutes of play, AOrz's Nguyễn Thanh Bình made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Đặng Xuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Nguyễn Diem got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th minute, Trần Lien reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Phạm Tho. The goal made the score 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thanh Bình in the 88th minute of play forced Ha Dong's goalkeeper Đặng Xuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Diem's late challenge caught a AOrz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Diem helped the player get up and apologised. Nguyễn Diem hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Phan Xuan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Đặng Xuan. Đặng Xuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Trần Lien struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Phạm Tho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ha Dong. Although AOrz had been in control for most of the match, Ha Dong still came away with the win.
