Spectators: 5004 (Terracing: 4002, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Thanh Bình kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Nguyễn Minh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Thanh Bình fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dương Lan having to interfere. A collision led to PhuTho getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Nguyễn Cuc hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Cuc got free with Phạm Tho in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Phan Xuan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the AOrz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phan Xuan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of AOrz booed when PhuTho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Đặng Tuan Hoang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phạm Tho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lê Anh Hung in the 33rd minute. Phạm Tho made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nguyễn Cuc sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Bay in the 38th minute of play forced AOrz's goalkeeper Phạm Tho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Nguyễn Cuc made a precise shot to the right of Phạm Tho. AOrz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Trần Bay to strike the kick off in the second half. Phạm Tho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Bay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nguyễn Cuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trần Bay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Thanh Bình received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dương Lan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AOrz's Phạm Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Bay in the 74th minute of play. Phạm Tho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Bay, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Cuc in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phạm Tho saved AOrz from getting behind. Phan Xuan's late challenge caught a PhuTho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phan Xuan helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes AOrz got a freekick which was hit by Phan Xuan. PhuTho's Trần Bay got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phạm Tho came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by PhuTho's Trần Bay. But to his dismay, Trần Bay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 89 minutes into the match, AOrz's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Bay came free, but Phạm Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phạm Tho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Cuc in the 95th minute of the match. PhuTho were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AOrz for a fine match.
