Nguyễn Thi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AOrz. Nguyễn Thanh Bình came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nguyễn Thi could save by the left post. When Nguyễn Minh fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AOrz's protests and gave Nguyễn Minh a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AOrz's Nguyễn Minh got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Tu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lao Cai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AOrz the free kick. Phạm Tho didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lao Cai's Mai Phong shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Phạm Tho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lý Minh-ha in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Phan Xuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AOrz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lao Cai the free kick. Nguyễn Thanh Bình fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Thi having to interfere. Phạm Tho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Phong in the 81st minute of play. Nguyễn Thanh Bình received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
