Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lưu Minh Phượng made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, THANH HÓA FC's goalkeeper Mai Quang Thanh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Diem. In the 6th of the match, Trần Lien tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mai Quang Thanh got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ha Dong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Diem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Trần Lien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Ha Dong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Chi to maneuver through the defense. Bùi Van Tai Em hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. THANH HÓA FC's Huỳnh Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Huỳnh kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Trần Lien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Mai Quang Thanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lưu Minh Phượng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mai Quang Thanh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Diem's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Đặng Xuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huỳnh Hong in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Trần Lien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ha Dong's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Lien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mai Quang Thanh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Duc kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes, Ha Dong's Chung Thien shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mai Quang Thanh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ha Dong reached it. The THANH HÓA FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing THANH HÓA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
