Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Minh took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Nguyễn Diem came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Samba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Diem couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kontum getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Trần Hanh hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Nguyễn Minh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kontum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Minh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Kontum's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Hoang came free, but Nguyễn Thanh Bình reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Nguyễn Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Chung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Chi helped the player get up and apologised.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trần Hoang to make the kick off. With a little luck, Samba's Nguyễn Chung got control of the ball when Nguyễn Nga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Phuoc kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Nguyễn Minh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nguyễn Chung saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nguyễn Chi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nguyễn Chung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With his leg Nguyễn Chung managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Kontum's Nguyễn Nga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Trần Hoang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nguyễn Thanh Bình tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nguyễn Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Nguyễn Nga put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nguyễn Chung. After having played for 84 minutes, Nguyễn Diem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Diem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Hoang in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Thanh Bình saved Kontum from getting behind. Nguyễn Nga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nguyễn Chung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Samba's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Minh came free, but Nguyễn Chung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Thanh Bình took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Hoang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kontum had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
