Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trần Than started the match with the kick off. If Nguyễn Than had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Than sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nguyễn Than fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khanh Hoa's protests and gave Nguyễn Than a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Nguyễn Than hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Khanh Hoa's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Tuyet came free, but Lê Nhật Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Than kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Trần Than got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phan Tong hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Than received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Đỗ Diem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Tuyin Quan's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Than came free, but Đỗ Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Đỗ Diem came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Khanh Hoa's Nguyễn Tuyet. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Tuyet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Đỗ Diem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Than, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Liễu Huynh Duc fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuyin Quan's protests and gave Liễu Huynh Duc a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Khanh Hoa booed when Tuyin Quan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liễu Huynh Duc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Tuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Đỗ Diem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Khanh Hoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Nga to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đỗ Diem having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Tuyin Quan's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Than came free, but Đỗ Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Nguyễn Than shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đỗ Diem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Nguyễn Tuyet made a precise shot to the right of Đỗ Diem. Tuyin Quan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Trần Than had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Văn Dinh's late challenge caught a Khanh Hoa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Văn Dinh helped the player get up and apologised. Văn Dinh hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Chi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Khanh Hoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuyet to maneuver through the defense.
