Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Liễu Tho took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Trần Than sped through Da Lat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Đào Anh Hung. Phan Tong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Đào Anh Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 12 minutes on the clock, Nguyễn Hoa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After having played for 22 minutes, Nguyễn Loc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Da Lat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Loc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trần Than kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lê Tuyet during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lê Tuyet kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Da Lat got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Loc. In the 34th match minute, Da Lat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liễu Tho to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match, Lý Bien tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Đỗ Diem saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tuyin Quan's Đỗ Diem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liễu Tho in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Nguyễn Loc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đỗ Diem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Liễu Tho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đỗ Diem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lý Bien, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Đỗ Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lý Bien in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Liễu Tho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Đỗ Diem, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Da Lat's Liễu Tho got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Trần Than reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Đào Anh Hung. The goal made the score 2-2. Đỗ Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liễu Tho in the 58th minute of play. Đỗ Diem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Loc in the 63rd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Tuyin Quan got a freekick which was hit by Trần Than. 65 minutes into the match, Tuyin Quan's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Loc came free, but Đỗ Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trần Than kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Đỗ Diem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lý Bien in the 70th minute of the match. Đỗ Diem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Loc, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Liễu Tho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đỗ Diem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Đỗ Diem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liễu Tho went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Lý Bien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Đỗ Diem was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Đỗ Diem came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Da Lat's Liễu Tho. But to his dismay, Liễu Tho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Da Lat had played much better football throughout.
