Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vương Duc started the match with the kick off. If Vương Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Lê Huy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Trần Dung fired a really elegant long shot, but Lâm Tu threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 18th match minute, Hoa Binh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Bien to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute Trần Dung ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Lâm Tu. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huỳnh Anh Hung in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lâm Tu saved Hoa Binh from getting behind. Vương Duc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Nguyễn Binh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Van Tai Em notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Hoa Binh's Lâm Tu. Lâm Tu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vương Duc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đặng Nghiêm-Minh having to interfere. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Binh in the 46th minute of the match.
After a defensive mix-up in Vinh Yen's zone, Vương Duc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh came out of the goal and Vương Duc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Binh struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoa Binh. 60 minutes into the game, Vương Duc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoa Binh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinh Yen the free kick. In the 60th minute, Vương Duc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vương Duc went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Vinh Yen's Đặng Nghiêm-Minh got control of the ball when Nguyễn Binh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinh Yen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Vương Duc scored to the left of an out of position Đặng Nghiêm-Minh, making the score, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Binh got free with Đặng Nghiêm-Minh in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Vinh Yen's Ngô Huynh Duc got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Vương Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lý Duc hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Van Tai Em received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lâm Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Binh in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Hoa Binh's Nguyễn Hoang got a free kick in the 97th minute. Hoa Binh were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Vinh Yen to leave the ground with a draw.
