Tạ Tuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đặng Dung in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Nguyễn Phu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Đỗ Tuyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Minh-ha having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Tạ Tuan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Tạ Tuan managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Crazy Man's Nguyễn Phu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Nguyễn Phu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Vương Hoang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sa Pa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Crazy Man.
