Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Võ Than took the kick off in the first half of the match. Trần Tuyet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đinh Anh Hung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trần Tuyet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mai Thi Ngoc went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mong Cai's zone, Võ Than stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tôn Tu came out of the goal and Võ Than tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mong Cai getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Trần Thuyet hit a great ball. Lê Phong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Than in the 26th minute of play forced Mong Cai's goalkeeper Tôn Tu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Thien hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Lê Phong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tôn Tu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mong Cai booed when Team Flash was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trần Tuyet made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hồ Tuyet sent off a good shot on target. Võ Than blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tôn Tu having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Võ Tuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trần Tuyet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 47 minutes into the match, Võ Tuan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Trần Tuyet, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Duong made a kick off. Lê Phong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tôn Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Duong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trần Tuyet. Team Flash's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Duong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Duong in the 73rd minute of play forced Team Flash's goalkeeper Trần Tuyet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77th play minutes Lê Phong shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Tôn Tu and just under the crossbar into goal. Lê Phong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tôn Tu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Team Flash's Trần Tuyet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Thi Ngoc in the 83rd minute of play. Nguyễn Duong scored 7-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Tuyet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trần Tuyet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Võ Tuan in the 91st minute of play. Trần Tuyet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Võ Tuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Trần Tuyet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mong Cai's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
