AnHugo's Phan Chung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Phu in the 16th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, AnHugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phạm Chi to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play, Crazy Man's Vũ Binh made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phan Chung was left in no man's land by his defense there! Đặng Dung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Chung having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Lý Phong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AnHugo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crazy Man the free kick. After a rather tough play, AnHugo's Lý Phong got a free kick in the 36th minute. Phan Chung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đặng Dung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Dương Lam made the kick off in the second half. When Đặng Than came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the AnHugo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Đặng Than couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play, AnHugo's Dương Lam made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Minh-ha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Đặng Dung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crazy Man's supporters rose to their feet, but Đặng Dung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Huỳnh was slow to take the kick. During this time Crazy Man's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Crazy Man's corner Lê Huỳnh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Phan Chung quite easily take care of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, AnHugo's goalkeeper Phan Chung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Phu. After 73 played minutes AnHugo got a freekick which was hit by Lê Chung. In the 77th minute of the match AnHugo got a corner. Crazy Man's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lê Chung ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dương Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Cong Vinh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crazy Man's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AnHugo the free kick. Lê Chung was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Crazy Man booed when AnHugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Chung didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
