In the 18th match minute, Dan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bùi Mai to maneuver through the defense. Tôn Lam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tôn Lam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Phuc having to interfere. Hồ Phuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Dan FC's Trần Cuc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Huỳnh Tu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lê Duc kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lê Phuc came out of the goal and Tôn Lam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dan FC's Trần Tan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ha Noi F.C.V.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
