Team Flash's attentive Đặng Tuyet managed to snatch the ball when Trương Lan made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute of the game Trương Lan made a throw-in which Dương Lam played forward. 25 minutes into the match, Team Flash's Võ Than sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phan Chung narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, AnHugo's goal looked a bit too open when Võ Than came free, but Phan Chung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lê Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Dương Lam took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Trần Tuyet to make any attempt to save it. Lê Phong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Phan Chung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lê Chung fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AnHugo's protests and gave Lê Chung a yellow card for diving instead. Lê Chung hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Võ Than was the one to do the kick off. Lê Phong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Phan Chung made a huge save. After 58 minutes of play, AnHugo's Dương Lam made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trần Tuyet was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Phạm Huỳnh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Tuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Chung in the 72nd minute of the match. Võ Than sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phạm Huỳnh charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phạm Huỳnh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Trần Hoai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Than in the 81st minute of play forced AnHugo's goalkeeper Phan Chung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AnHugo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Trần Hoai hit a great ball. Võ Than could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Phan Chung made a huge save. Lê Phong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phan Chung having to make a save. 95 minutes into the game, Trương Lan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Team Flash's Đặng Tuyet quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Many of Team Flash's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Team Flash may have spent more time on the ball, but AnHugo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
