The goalkeeper, Đặng Tinh, was totally fooled by Ben Tre's Phan Thanh Bình, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Trần Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Phan Bay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đặng Tinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trần Tuan got free with Đặng Tinh in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Đỗ Hanh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Ho having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Ben Tre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Tuan to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Officer Doofy Techno Lab's goal looked a bit too open when Phan Bay came free, but Đặng Tinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phan Bay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Đặng Tinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben Tre's Phan Bay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Đặng Tinh. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Phan Bay made the kick off in the second half. Trần Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Đặng Tinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đỗ Hanh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Trần Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đặng Tinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phan Bay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Đặng Tinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Phan Bay sped through Officer Doofy Techno Lab's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Đặng Tinh. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trần Tuan in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đặng Tinh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Bay in the 74th minute of play forced Officer Doofy Techno Lab's goalkeeper Đặng Tinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phan Bay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Officer Doofy Techno Lab's Vũ Minh got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Vũ Minh off the ground. A collision led to Officer Doofy Techno Lab getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vũ Minh hit a great ball. Ben Tre walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
