Lê Tan might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phạm Nguyet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phùng Nhật Minh made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lê Tan in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phạm Nguyet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Phạm Nguyet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, SLNA FC's Phạm Nguyet got control of the ball when Nguyễn Tan tried to sneak it across the goal line. SLNA FC's Phạm Nguyet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SLNA FC from getting a goal against them. Nguyễn Nguyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Nguyet having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Vietnam left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SLNA FC.
