When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Dias made a kick off. Nguyễn Liem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Thorsberg having to interfere. Nguyễn Tuan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Poseidon's Gonçalo Loureiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Binh Dinh. The supporters of Poseidon booed when Binh Dinh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Liem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Đặng Chi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mattias Thorsberg. The goal made the score 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Binh Dinh's zone, Vágner Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Võ Tan came out of the goal and Vágner Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Cadeo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mattias Thorsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Binh Dinh. The crowd rose to their feet as La Hung kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mattias Thorsberg. That made the score 1-9 in the 92 minute of play. After 94 played minutes Binh Dinh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Liem. Boleslaw Moizuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Binh Dinh players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
