Spectators: 9195 (Terracing: 6898, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) Huỳnh Dinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Moizuk in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Lao Baoa's goalkeeper Huỳnh Dinh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vágner Dias. Vágner Dias let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 14th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Boleslaw Moizuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Dinh having to interfere. Huỳnh Dinh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Moizuk in the 20th minute of the match. Lao Baoa's attentive Phạm Cuc managed to snatch the ball when Evaristo Gaitano made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Vágner Dias came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Huỳnh Dinh could save by the left post. Boleslaw Moizuk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Huỳnh Dinh came out and tried to block the shot, but Boleslaw Moizuk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Hoàng Hoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lao Baoa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poseidon the free kick. Hoàng Hoa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Vágner Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Lao Baoa's goal looked a bit too open when Lưu Phuong came free, but Huỳnh Dinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Vágner Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poseidon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vágner Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Araoz made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Boleslaw Moizuk however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Moizuk in the 54th minute of play forced Lao Baoa's goalkeeper Huỳnh Dinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Vágner Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Huỳnh Dinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Dias in the 56th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Poseidon fully deserved thier win.
