Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Chuong started the match with the kick off. Nguyễn Ho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Trần Thuyet managed to get in a good position for a shot. TT FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Thuyet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Bien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Đỗ Duc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nguyễn Bien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Vinah Long was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huỳnh Loc to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Đỗ Duc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vinah Long's Nguyễn Ho got a free kick in the 55th minute. Nguyễn Bien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trần Thuyet went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Nguyễn Ho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Ho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Lê Tuan Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinah Long's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Tuan Hoang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Ho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bùi Than tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to TT FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dương Phuong hit a great ball. Bùi Than took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huỳnh Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Hoang kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Trần Thuyet succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 86th playminute. 91 minutes into the match, Vinah Long's goalkeeper Nguyễn Bien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trần Thuyet. Nguyễn Ho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes, TT FC's Trịnh Phuong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nguyễn Bien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TT FC reached it.
