The supporters of Cao Bang Red Star booed when TheNoobNewbie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petteri Lähitie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Loc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Đoàn Mai came out and tried to block the shot, but Nguyễn Loc slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Loc notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cao Bang Red Star's Đoàn Mai. Đoàn Mai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathis Vendeville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Sá in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Silvestre Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hoàng Phuoc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mathis Vendeville. TheNoobNewbie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Cao Bang Red Star booed when TheNoobNewbie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Colle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Nguyễn Duy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathis Vendeville was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cao Bang Red Star's zone, Torsten Grep stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đoàn Mai came out of the goal and Torsten Grep tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, TheNoobNewbie's Nguyễn Loc got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 34 minutes, Torsten Grep made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cao Bang Red Star's Đoàn Mai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Liem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Đoàn Mai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Cao Bang Red Star got a freekick which was hit by Liễu Thien. Đoàn Mai made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Nguyễn Loc sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Van Tai Em took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathis Vendeville. Mathis Vendeville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, TheNoobNewbie's Dennis Bålström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of TheNoobNewbie booed when Cao Bang Red Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liễu Thien didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, TheNoobNewbie's Nguyễn Loc tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torsten Grep stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Tomás Sá sped through TheNoobNewbie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathis Vendeville. Đặng Van Tai Em struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Đoàn Mai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheNoobNewbie. Mathis Vendeville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liễu Phu in the 70th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Liễu Phu could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 3-4 into the left cross. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Dimas got free with Mathis Vendeville in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timoteo Dimas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mathis Vendeville made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Torsten Grep left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TheNoobNewbie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. 84 minutes into the game, TheNoobNewbie's Torsten Grep nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Đoàn Mai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-4. 90 minutes into the match, TheNoobNewbie's goalkeeper Mathis Vendeville had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Van Tai Em. In the 92nd minute of the match Nguyễn Loc shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Đoàn Mai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cao Bang Red Star's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
