Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Phan Hong got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Phan Hong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trịnh Duc. Phan Hong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Đỗ Cadeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Huỳnh Minh-ha was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Tay Ninh's goal looked a bit too open when Đỗ Cadeo came free, but Huỳnh Minh-ha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Tay Ninh got a freekick which was hit by Phạm Nam. After 22 minutes, Lê Nghiêm-Minh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tay Ninh and the Da Nang Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Da Nang Boys fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Da Nang Boys's Đỗ Cadeo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Đỗ Cadeo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huỳnh Minh-ha saved Tay Ninh from getting behind. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Đỗ Cadeo sped through Tay Ninh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Huỳnh Minh-ha. Đỗ Cadeo scored 1-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Huỳnh Minh-ha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Da Nang Boys getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Trịnh Than hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Đỗ Cadeo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Tay Ninh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Phuc to maneuver through the defense. Huỳnh Minh-ha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Đỗ Cadeo in the 53rd minute. Đỗ Cadeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Phạm Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Minh-ha having to interfere. Huỳnh Minh-ha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đỗ Cadeo in the 63rd minute of play. When Đỗ Cadeo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Da Nang Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Đỗ Cadeo couldn't finish the play. Phạm Nam might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trịnh Duc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phạm Nam ran back to his position shaking his head. Huỳnh Minh-ha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Đỗ Cadeo in the 69th minute. A collision led to Tay Ninh getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lê Nghiêm-Minh hit a great ball. Huỳnh Minh-ha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Đỗ Cadeo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Phạm Nam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Trịnh Duc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phạm Van Tai Em's late challenge caught a Tay Ninh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phạm Van Tai Em helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Da Nang Boys getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Phạm Van Tai Em hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thuy in the 80th minute of play forced Tay Ninh's goalkeeper Huỳnh Minh-ha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd play minute Đỗ Cadeo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Huỳnh Minh-ha. 1-5. In the 87th minute, Nguyễn Thuy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Minh-ha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Tay Ninh's Huỳnh Minh-ha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huỳnh Hoang in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Da Nang Boys defense, Phạm Nam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trịnh Duc. The Da Nang Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trịnh Duc should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute, Đỗ Cadeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Minh-ha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7.
