Cam Ranh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thai Ngudyen the free kick. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cam Ranh! The goalkeeper, Bùi Hoa, was totally fooled by Thai Ngudyen's Lê Huy, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The attack was good, but when Nguyễn Teo in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
