Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Duong started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Lê Nam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cam Ranh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Da Nang Boys the free kick. Lê Nam kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cam Ranh getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Huỳnh Tu hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Cam Ranh's goal looked a bit too open when Đỗ Cadeo came free, but Bùi Hoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Teo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Đỗ Cadeo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bùi Hoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Đỗ Cadeo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Da Nang Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Da Nang Boys's Phạm Loc got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Da Nang Boys's Trịnh Duc got control of the ball when Nguyễn Teo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nguyễn Hanh fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cam Ranh's protests and gave Nguyễn Hanh a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Đỗ Cadeo to make the kick off. Nguyễn Thuy might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bùi Hoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Thuy ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Da Nang Boys defense, Nguyễn Duong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trịnh Duc. The Da Nang Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trịnh Duc should have stopped the shot. Nguyễn Thuy struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Bùi Hoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Da Nang Boys. Trịnh Duc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huỳnh Tu in the 70th minute of play. Cam Ranh's Bùi Hoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Cam Ranh from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Thuy got free with Bùi Hoa in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Đỗ Cadeo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Bùi Hoa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77thth minute of the game Đỗ Cadeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cam Ranh's Bùi Hoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Bùi Hoa managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Da Nang Boys's Đỗ Cadeo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bùi Hoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Thuy in the 84th minute of play. With 89 minutes on the clock, Lưu Thi Ngoc commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Cam Ranh booed when Da Nang Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lưu Thi Ngoc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Khoi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Đỗ Cadeos short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Bùi Hoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute Nguyễn Duong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trịnh Duc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cam Ranh fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Da Nang Boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
