With a little luck, Lang Son's Baltasar Bittor got control of the ball when Bùi Cadeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltasar Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ngô Minh Phượng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Lang Son's goalkeeper Baltasar Bittor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lê Hoang. Baltasar Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ngô Minh Phượng in the 42nd minute of play. When Vương Tu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lang Son's protests and gave Vương Tu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ayun Pa booed when Lang Son was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vương Tu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Bittor made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Đào Than sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ngô Minh Phượng to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lang Son's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Tu came free, but Baltasar Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Đào Than fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Bittor having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Đào Than made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Bittor. Lang Son's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Baltasar Bittor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Hoang in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lang Son's Vương Tu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ngô Minh Phượng in the 73rd minute of play forced Lang Son's goalkeeper Baltasar Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
