He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ayun Pa reached it. Ayun Pa's Trần Viet was substituted for Nguyễn Tu. Đỗ Cadeo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Nguyễn Tuan 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ayun Pa booed when Da Nang Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huỳnh Hoang didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Nguyễn Tuan managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Da Nang Boys's Đỗ Cadeo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ayun Pa's Nguyễn Tuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ayun Pa from getting a goal against them. Nguyễn Tuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Thuy in the 40th minute. After 47 minutes, Văn Dinh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayun Pa and the Da Nang Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 63rd match minute, Da Nang Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trịnh Than to maneuver through the defense. Trần Thai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Trịnh Duc. Da Nang Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Đỗ Cadeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayun Pa's Nguyễn Tuan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Da Nang Boys fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Da Nang Boys's Đỗ Cadeo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Da Nang Boys had won after a very even match.
