Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Trần Hong Minh made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Đỗ Phong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Nga tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Hai Duong's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Liem came free, but Nguyễn Thien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Thai Ngudyen's corner Lê Huy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nguyễn Thien quite easily take care of the ball. Nguyễn Tuyet hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Thien was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Võ Hoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Võ Hoa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Trần Hong Minh hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Thien got control of the ball when Đoàn Tu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 27 in the game by Nguyễn Liem from a close distance when the talented Nguyễn Thien managed to make a qualified save. Hai Duong's players were relieved. In the 29th minute, Trần Huỳnh made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Thien. Hai Duong's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lê Huy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thai Ngudyen's supporters rose to their feet, but Lê Huy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Thien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trần Cuc charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Trần Cuc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Võ Hoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nguyễn Thien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes in the game, Võ Hoa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nguyễn Thien having to interfere. Nguyễn Liem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Nguyễn Thien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Liem made a kick off. A collision led to Thai Ngudyen getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Võ Hoa hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Thai Ngudyen's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Hong Minh came free, but Phan Binh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Võ Hoa charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Võ Hoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Thai Ngudyen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Võ Hoa hit a great ball. Nguyễn Thien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đoàn Tu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Đoàn Tu might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Thien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Đoàn Tu ran back to his position shaking his head. During the 61st minute of the match Võ Hoa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Võ Hoa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Võ Hoa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Nguyễn Hanh hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Nguyễn Nga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Phan Binh was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Thai Ngudyen getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nguyễn Liem hit a great ball. If Đoàn Tu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Thai Ngudyen's goalkeeper Phan Binh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Tuyet. Trần Hong Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Phan Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đoàn Tu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Thien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phan Cong Vinh in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Hai Duong's goal looked a bit too open when Đoàn Tu came free, but Nguyễn Thien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Liem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nguyễn Thien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thai Ngudyen's Lê Huy got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Thai Ngudyen fully deserved thier win.
