In the 12thth minute of the game Vasil Kolyovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dao Phuong's Vũ Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lê Viet struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Vũ Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ronaldo. Nico Decius came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Dao Phuong's Nghiêm Nam. But to his dismay, Nghiêm Nam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vũ Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasil Kolyovski's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Nguyễn Xuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Thien hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Bien during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Bien kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Vũ Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasil Kolyovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Đinh Nga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vũ Hong was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Vũ Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasil Kolyovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nguyễn Bien was the one to do the kick off. Văn Thi Ngoc hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Vũ Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasil Kolyovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dao Phuong's Vũ Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Dao Phuong from getting a goal against them. Vasil Kolyovski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Vũ Hong skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 86th minute Nguyễn Thien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Decius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasil Kolyovski got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-4 in the right cross in the 88th match minute before Vũ Hong had time to react. In the 91st minute Nguyễn Thien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Decius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vasil Kolyovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dao Phuong fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Ronaldo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
