Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lê Bay kicked off to start the match. When Huỳnh Nam came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Vinh Yen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huỳnh Nam couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đào Tuyet in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Vinh Yen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Thien to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, Feerder's Bùi Huynh Duc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nguyễn Huynh Duc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Feerder reached it. In the 10th match minute, Feerder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Khoi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Huỳnh Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinh Yen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huỳnh Nam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huỳnh Nam in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Feerder's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Hieu Ngan came free, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Dinh, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Lê Bay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lê Bay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 21st minute, Feerder's Lê Bay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nguyễn Huynh Duc. Nguyễn Huynh Duc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đào Tuyet in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Feerder getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nguyễn Khoi hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Nguyễn Phong shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Huỳnh Nam's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đào Tuyet in the 32nd minute of the match. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huỳnh Nam went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Bay, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Trần Tu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Huynh Duc having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Huỳnh Nam was the one to do the kick off. Văn Chi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc was a little too slow when Huỳnh Nam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huỳnh Nam in the 56th minute of play forced Feerder's goalkeeper Nguyễn Thi Ngoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Lê Bay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feerder fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Trần Dinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Bay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Huynh Duc having to interfere. Feerder's Trần Tu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nguyễn Phong, made in the 69th minute of the game. The throw-in from Nguyễn Phong in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Feerder's Văn Chi. Huỳnh Nam charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Huỳnh Nam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Vinh Yen got a freekick which was hit by Huỳnh Nam. Vinh Yen's Nguyễn Huynh Duc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Bay in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Vinh Yen got a freekick which was hit by Lê Hieu Ngan. When Feerder's Lê Bay in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinh Yen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Trần Tu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bùi Huynh Duc in the 83rd minute of play forced Vinh Yen's goalkeeper Nguyễn Huynh Duc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lưu Ritchell kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Vinh Yen's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Bay came free, but Nguyễn Huynh Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vinh Yen's goalkeeper Nguyễn Huynh Duc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lê Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Feerder getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Trần Tu hit a great ball. Vinh Yen's Nguyễn Phong shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nguyễn Thi Ngoc but with some difficulty. The supporters of Feerder booed when Vinh Yen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Thien didn't get a good kick on the ball.
