Huỳnh Diem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as REAL MARIAD's Nguyễn Thuy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Huỳnh Diem. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viet Tri's goalkeeper Huỳnh Diem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Thuy notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Viet Tri's Huỳnh Diem.
