The supporters of REAL MARIAD booed when Feerder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Nga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phạm Minh took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Thi Ngoc. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nguyễn Thuy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Thi Ngoc having to interfere. In the 20th minute Lê Anh Hung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feerder's Nguyễn Khoi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Đào Chuong but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, REAL MARIAD's Phạm Minh got a free kick in the 45th minute. Đào Chuong stood somewhat misplaced when Nguyễn Thai came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Lê Anh Hung made the kick off in the second half. Nguyễn Thai might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Đào Chuong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Thai ran back to his position shaking his head. Đào Chuong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Feerder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Văn Chi to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trần Dinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Đào Chuong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Thai struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the REAL MARIAD defense, Trần Nga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Đào Chuong. The REAL MARIAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Đào Chuong should have stopped the shot. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Huỳnh Thi Ngoc. 78 minutes into the match, Feerder's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Anh Hung came free, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Nguyễn Thai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL MARIAD's Đào Chuong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Thai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huỳnh Cadeo made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nguyễn Nguyet however managed to control. The audience was convinced that Nguyễn Thai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Đào Chuong was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Nguyễn Thai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feerder's Trần Dinh got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phạm Minh charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phạm Minh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the Feerder players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
