Nguyễn Nam took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huỳnh Diem. Huỳnh Diem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 24 played minutes Viet Tri got a freekick which was hit by Đoàn Ritchell. Trần Tấn Dũng scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Võ Tuan Hoang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Trần Tấn Dũng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Tuan Hoang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Hoàng Dong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bac Giang11's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Trần Tấn Dũng scored to the left of an out of position Võ Tuan Hoang, making the score, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trần Tấn Dũng made a kick off. Võ Tuan Hoang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đoàn Ritchell in the 54th minute of play. Huỳnh Thi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Diem's late challenge caught a Viet Tri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Diem helped the player get up and apologised. 64 minutes into the game, Viet Tri's Hồ Teo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Võ Tuan Hoang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Vũ Huy kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Đoàn Ritchell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Võ Tuan Hoang was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in Viet Tri's zone, Nguyễn Nam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huỳnh Diem came out of the goal and Nguyễn Nam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 minutes, Chung Mai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bac Giang11 and the Viet Tri players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the game, Viet Tri's Hồ Teo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Võ Tuan Hoang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Võ Tuan Hoang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đoàn Ritchell in the 84th minute of play. Trần Tấn Dũng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Võ Tuan Hoang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
