Trần Dinh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes, Trần Dinh made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bac Giang11's Hoàng Huy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Thai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hoàng Huy having to make a save. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lâm Tuyet in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute of the match Phạm Tong sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc skillfully saved the ball. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Nam, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Thai got free with Hoàng Huy in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feerder's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
