The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, King Kong Hà Nội's Rudolf Krooni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Huỳnh Diem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 3-5.

Thanks to some nice moves Batuğ Üstündağ could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Huỳnh Diem however easily saved by the left post.
