After 8 played minutes Bac Giang11 got a freekick which was hit by Lương Chung. In the 15th minute, Hoàng Huỳnh made a precise shot to the right of Phạm Thanh. FC GOCCAY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Phạm Thanh had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nguyễn Nam from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Thai in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hoàng Huy saved Bac Giang11 from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Lê Tuyet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Huy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chung Mai hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Thai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hoàng Huy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC GOCCAY's Nguyễn Quang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hoàng Huy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nguyễn Nam in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Hoàng Huy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Quang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Loc scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hoàng Huy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nguyễn Quang managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC GOCCAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Quang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hoàng Huy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Phạm Tong hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When Nguyễn Thai came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the FC GOCCAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Thai couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lâm Tuyet was the one to do the kick off. If Huỳnh Thi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Bac Giang11 defense, Trần Thai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Huy. The Bac Giang11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Huy should have stopped the shot. If Nguyễn Quang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC GOCCAY's Nguyễn Dung got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, FC GOCCAY's goal looked a bit too open when Lâm Tuyet came free, but Phạm Thanh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Thi during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes FC GOCCAY got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Thi. Trần Thai kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 81 minutes of play, FC GOCCAY's Lê Tuyet made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hoàng Huy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Loc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hoàng Huy came out and tried to block the shot, but Nguyễn Loc slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Bac Giang11 defense, Lê Tuyet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Huy. The Bac Giang11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Huy should have stopped the shot. Hoàng Huy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Loc in the 99th minute of play.
