Văn Van Quyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, Bien Hoa's Hồ Hoai made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Văn Van Quyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh scored 0-5 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Văn Van Quyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Nghiêm Bien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The AC Viet Tri 24 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bien Hoa were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nghiêm Bien to make the kick off. AC Viet Tri 24's Văn Van Quyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save AC Viet Tri 24 from getting a goal against them. After 63 minutes of play, Bien Hoa's Nguyễn Huy made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 90 minutes, Nguyễn Hoai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Viet Tri 24 and the Bien Hoa players grew even worse after the yellow card.
