Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Viet Tri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Nguyễn Loc scored to the left of an out of position Huỳnh Diem, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Viet Tri's Huỳnh Diem got control of the ball when Lê Tuyet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Quang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Huỳnh Diem when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Lê Tuyet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Huỳnh Diem. The goal made the score 2-0. Phạm Thanh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hồ Teo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Loc came free, but Huỳnh Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Lê Tuyet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Diem was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 43rdth minute of the game Nguyễn Loc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viet Tri's Huỳnh Diem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Loc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Loc came free, but Huỳnh Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Quang in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huỳnh Diem saved Viet Tri from getting behind. If Nguyễn Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC GOCCAY booed when Viet Tri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vũ Hanh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viet Tri's Huỳnh Diem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Tuyet in the 79th minute of play. Trần Nguyet kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match.
