In the 3rdth minute of the game Nguyễn Nam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinh Yen's Nguyễn Huynh Duc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Vinh Yen's Lê Quang made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hoàng Huy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 played minutes Vinh Yen got a freekick which was hit by Đặng Hoang. Hoàng Huy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huỳnh Nam in the 12th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Hoàng Huy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hoàng Huy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huỳnh Nam, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Bac Giang11 booed when Vinh Yen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Thien didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Phạm Tong came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bac Giang11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phạm Tong couldn't finish the play. Bac Giang11's Hoàng Huy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huỳnh Nam in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Vinh Yen's Hoàng Huy threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lê Quang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hoàng Huy made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Đào Tuyet sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Nam to strike the kick off in the second half. Hoàng Huy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đào Tuyet, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 52 minutes, Lê Hieu Ngan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinh Yen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Hieu Ngan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hoàng Huy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huỳnh Nam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Bac Giang11 defense, Huỳnh Nam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Huy. The Bac Giang11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Huy should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Đào Tuyet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hoàng Huy. Bac Giang11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Đào Tuyet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huỳnh Nam in the 71st minute of play forced Bac Giang11's goalkeeper Hoàng Huy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Bac Giang11 defense, Huỳnh Nam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Huy. The Bac Giang11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Huy should have stopped the shot. Nguyễn Nam's late challenge caught a Bac Giang11's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Nam helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Vinh Yen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Nam to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Bac Giang11's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Quang came free, but Hoàng Huy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoàng Huy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Quang in the 94th minute of play. Huỳnh Thi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Huynh Duc having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vinh Yen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bac Giang11 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
