Đinh Huỳnhs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Phạm Thanh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Phạm Hanh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, FC GOCCAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Thai to maneuver through the defense. When Phạm Hanh came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Da Nang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phạm Hanh couldn't finish the play. FC GOCCAY's Phạm Thanh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Hanh in the 23rd minute of play. Phạm Duong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Phạm Thanh came out and tried to block the shot, but Phạm Duong slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. Đinh Huỳnh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Nguyễn Loc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Nam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lê Tuyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Nam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Tuyet in the 43rd minute of the match.

The audience was convinced that Nguyễn Loc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Nam was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Phạm Duong kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Da Nang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nghiêm Loc to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Loc in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Nam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Đinh Huỳnh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Đinh Huỳnh in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phạm Thanh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phạm Duong charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phạm Duong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute of the match Nguyễn Thai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Nam skillfully saved the ball. After 75 minutes of play Da Nang's Phạm Duong was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Phạm Duong hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Da Nang getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Nguyễn Tong hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Lê Tuyet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GOCCAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Tuyet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes Nguyễn Loc rounded Da Nang's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. FC GOCCAY's Nguyễn Thai got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Nam didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. In the 96th minute Nguyễn Loc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Nam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC GOCCAY had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
