Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liễu Thi Ngoc was the one to do the kick off. Đoàn Tinh might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Dinh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Đoàn Tinh ran back to his position shaking his head. Nguyễn Dinh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đoàn Tinh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Dinh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đoàn Tinh, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Lao Bao's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Viet came free, but Phan Duong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lao Bao's Phan Duong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Viet in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, WeAllwaysLose FC's Nguyễn Dinh got control of the ball when Đoàn Tinh tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Liễu Thi Ngoc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lao Bao's Phan Duong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
