Dương Hong charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zumar Villabona in the 7th minute of play forced Lao Bao's goalkeeper Phan Duong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Võ Thien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lao Bao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hai Duong the free kick. In the 9th minute, Võ Thien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Zumar Villabona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hai Duong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zumar Villabona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phan Duong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zumar Villabona's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Phan Duong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huỳnh Mai in the 14th minute of play. Hai Duong's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Đặng Hanh in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Hai Duong's Arthur Clarke made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phan Duong was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Huỳnh Mai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hai Duong's supporters rose to their feet, but Huỳnh Mai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Duong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dương Hong hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The Hai Duong fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Hai Duong's Zumar Villabona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Phan Duong didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hai Duong's Zumar Villabona shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đoàn Tinh to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Arthur Clarke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hai Duong's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Clarke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Duong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56th play minutes Zumar Villabona shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Phan Duong and just under the crossbar into goal. Hai Duong's Zumar Villabona got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zumar Villabona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Arthur Clarke made a precise shot to the right of Phan Duong. Lao Bao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 72nd minute of the match, Zumar Villabona got a very nice opportunity to score, but Phan Duong was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Hai Duong fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Hai Duong's Zumar Villabona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 83 minutes into the game, Zumar Villabona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Phan Duong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Phan Duong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arthur Clarke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 85 minute of play. With a little luck, Lao Bao's Phan Duong got control of the ball when Zumar Villabona tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Lao Bao's goalkeeper Phan Duong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zumar Villabona. Hai Duong's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
