The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nguyễn Thanh hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Nguyễn Loc in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Huế's Lê Thi. Dywizjon 303's 邱朗皓 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Paul in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Huế's goalkeeper Lê Binh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caitano Espinosa. 12 minutes into the match, Placido Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 邱朗皓. Dywizjon 303's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Paul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute Placido Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邱朗皓 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Huế got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Bien. In the 30th minute, Placido Paul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 邱朗皓 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd match minute, Dywizjon 303 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Grønvik to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Nguyễn Lien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dywizjon 303's 邱朗皓 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Paul in the 45th minute of play. The Dywizjon 303 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huế were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Calvet Vives made the kick off in the second half. 邱朗皓 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Paul's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Placido Paul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but 邱朗皓 made a huge save. Lê Binh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvet Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 邱朗皓 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Paul went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 邱朗皓 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Paul in the 81st minute of play. Lê Binh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvet Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Dywizjon 303's Bùi Hoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lê Binh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Dywizjon 303's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc was substituted for Bùi Hoa. Although Dywizjon 303 had been in control for most of the match, Huế still came away with the win.
