In the 11th minute, Dale Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Annscroft FC's Alif Hsi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 牛奶小战士's Steven Shyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Lee in the 14th minute of play. Gara Chee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Steven Shyan made a huge save. In the 21st minute, one of 牛奶小战士:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 牛奶小战士. Alif Hsi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clive Teo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clive Teo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Alexander Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, Annscroft FC's Alexander Lee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steven Shyan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gara Chees short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Steven Shyan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute, Gara Chee left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annscroft FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Devan made a kick off. When Rudy Seng fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annscroft FC's protests and gave Rudy Seng a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Rudy Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Shyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Lee in the 57th minute of play. Clive Teo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Steven Shyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gara Chee in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to 牛奶小战士 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ron Pillai hit a great ball. Steven Shyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khairil Namasivayam was a little too slow when Victor Devan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 87th minute of the match, Victor Devan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Khairil Namasivayam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Annscroft FC's Khairil Namasivayam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Annscroft FC from getting a goal against them. Joel Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
